Trak Racer had a fantastic weekend partnering with SRO Motorsport Australia at Round Two of the LIQUI MOLY GT FESTIVAL at the SHELL V-POWER MOTORSPORT PARK in South Australia. The on-track action was edge of your seat with racing happening from 9am most mornings until late afternoon, and the off-track action was just as exciting, with Trak Racer running three simulators across different locations on site to bring the action closer to the fans.

Our TR8 Pro Simulators were set up in the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park's main foyer, running The Bend International layout on iRacing. Across the weekend we gave punters the opportunity to experience the same GT3 and GT4 cars that were out on track, and plenty of them took us up on it.
The simulators also had a number of visits from drivers across the weekend, with high-profile Australian drivers such as Brock Feeney and Thomas Randle stopping by to do a couple of hot laps, alongside drivers from the Ferrari Challenge, Porsche Sprint Cup, GT4 field and the Mustang Challenge.

The competition was fierce, with the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO coming out on top as the fastest across the simulated track, a 1:46.961 set by Blake Dowdall, a Ford Mustang GT4 driver. Not a bad result for someone who spent the weekend in a completely different car.

Jamie, who was on site from Trak Racer, said: "It was great to see all of the motorsport fans and families jump in our simulators over the weekend. There was a lot of interest in how simulation is used in motorsport and we loved every conversation. We're looking forward to the upcoming rounds and continuing to bring drivers and fans closer to the sport they love."
It's been a pleasure working with SRO Motorsport Australia this year to bring the experience of the track closer to the fans, and that's not stopping anytime soon, Trak Racer will continue to have simulators across the Shannons Speedseries events throughout 2026.

Next up is Round Three at Queensland Raceway across the weekend of June 12–14. If you want to grab your tickets and see the action for yourself, head through here, you won't want to miss it.
And if the weekend has inspired you to get behind the wheel, you can experience The Bend International yourself or race in the same package as the drivers through the links below.
