The shelf is quite sturdy! It is also a nice size leaving plenty of room for my Gaming PC. I was able to mount it on the front of my Sim Rig. I made the mount about 20 inches above my pedal tray, front and center. This gives me good access to my PC, USB Plugins ETC... This position made cable management a lot easier. Though I didn't need them, it comes with heavy duty mounting plates to accommodate width.

Product is awesome as expected, BUT. There is one thing I would suggest they change on it. The deck needs to be about 1/4-1/2 inch bigger to fit bigger cases. Mine is right on the edge. Other than that great piece! That’s the only reason I give it a 4 star.

Very sturdy, well built and strong. The nice thing about this is it can work with almost any setup, even if the bars are too far apart (which was my case.) I hung the computer from the crossbeam instead.
