These took close to a couple of hours for me to install, though I could have done it quicker. I was pretty meticulous and also took the time to vacuum and dust the rails of my rig in the process. I mounted the bracket directly to the bottom of my seat, and then attached that to my slider rails which are mounted directly to 2 cross-rails on my aluminum extrusion rig. The sliders raised my seating position 50 mm in the back and 81mm in the front which substantially changed the geometry of rig. I wanted the front higher, but I would have preferred to keep the rear where it was originally. Ultimately I was able to order pre-cut aluminum extrusion pieces and replaced the ***** cross rails with *****, thus lowering the seat 40 mm while still keeping the added angle. This was much closer to the original height. The metal brackets are very solid and will not bend of flex under normal human powered forces. They look really nice on the rig and most wouldn't notice they are even there.
I bought these to take pressure off my back - I had been starting to experience a fair amount of back pain after spending long periods in my rig, and this did the trick.

I have an old Anda Seat that was given to me years ago. To save money i used that. Problem is that the bolts that lock in the angle get loose over time and you have to re-tighten. That is what it is, but since I use this on a tr8 pro v2, the bolt is right next to the aluminum bar that curves in the back making it almost IMPOSSIBLE to get the Allen wrench in there to tighten it. Meaning I have to take the whole bracket off the seat slider just to tighten it and put it back on. I'll eventually upgrade to a bucket seat and that uses a whole other bracket. Also, if you're using a regular aluminum rig thats not tubular, you'll probably not even have the issue I did. In the picture you can see the curved tube under the side of my seat to understand what I mean.
