Trak Racer TR8 Pro Racing Cockpit
The TR8 Pro is an upgraded version of the popular Trak Racer TR8. From 2018 to 2021, the TR8 was the King of Sims. It ticks all of the boxes for a Sim Rig that assembles in 30-60 minutes. It's Strong, Adjustable, and has an Integrated Monitor Stand. In the usual Trak Racer way, we gathered customer feedback from over 10,000 TR8 owners to develop the TR8 PRO.

Strengthened Pedal Plate
The TR8 PRO has been improved to withstand up to 180kgs of braking for force without flex. We have also added pre-drilled mounting points for more new pedal sets on the market and the slide function on the TR8 remains - so you can get those pedals exactly where you need them!
More Adjustable and Strengthened Wheel Mount
We have added a wheel mount slider to the TR8 PRO to give you 130mm forward and back adjustment with the use of proprietary ball-bearing-assisted sliders. We have also strengthened the 2" tube to withstand up to 30nm direct drive steering wheel torque without flex.
More Adjustable and Strengthened Left or Right Side Shifter Mount
The shifter mount has been strengthened by increasing the thickness of the mount and also the plate on the simulator that it mounts to. We have even added mounting points to enable the shifter mount to move forwards and back.
OPTIONAL INTEGRATED SINGLE MONITOR STAND
The integrated monitor stand is an optional extra with height adjustment for the monitor, and also forward and back adjustment. The complete design has been improved to provide a more rock-solid mount.

Trak Racer pre-boxing day sales Nov/Oct 2025. I saw a bundle deal I could not say no to. Got myself the TR8 Pro Monitor Stand bundle at an amazing price. Also added the Recliner seat, Left/Right Side Shifter/Handbrake Upgrade, Caster Wheels & Floor Mat. I later got the Tablet and Button Box Holder V2 Mount a month or so later.
When the boxes arrived – order made on 25th Oct, items delivered on the 28th from memory so pretty quick – boxes arrived I thought crap, that’s a lot of boxes. About 5 or 6. But as I started opening them up, putting the seat, the frame, pedal plate and everything else together I found it was easy enough, referencing the manual. I liked that all the nuts/bolts were pre fitted. Caster wheels were a great purchase because I was able to move the frame around while putting it all together. Especially in the room I was setting it up in, it’s a tight spot.
But it all come together and slid in nicely in its final position. Space for me was a big factor but this rig and the width of my monitor fit perfectly.
I come across one issue with the monitor mount. The problem was not the Trak Racer monitor mount, it was more my monitor and its lack of having a reliable reputable vesa mount adaptor. All I could find were 3rd party ones. I have the Samsung Odyssey g95c 49” curved monitor. The Trak Racer monitor mount was like a millimetre or two too wide to fit in the slot of the monitor. Checking online for adaptors, very limited and the ones that were available I did not…

Made up with my choice of rig. Looks great in the grey. Is easy to climb in and out of with a retractable wheel rail. Has weight which adds to the robustness of the frames feel.
Got it with a recliner and monitor stand. The seat is perfect with a real leather feel and stitching. The stand ain't that great! I would recommend a free standing monitor support with hindsight. Didn't support the tv perfectly with weak instruction on assembly.
Frame came with a lot of nuts and bolts aleady in position which simplified assembly. But it was complicated by inaccurate or confusing assembly instructions. This is why I docked a star from the rating.
And also advise that if you wish to add the haptic feet later on it is more expensive with this tubular frame rig. It can be done but has to sit on another frame, which costs. Just a precautionary addition.
I bought this rig, as it has a large range of additional accessories and overall, this is an awesome rig capable of handling dd wheels with zero issues, is fully adjustable to suit your comfort and is priced well for the quality.

The TR8 is an excellent rig. It occupies less space in comparison with other rigs but it has the same robustness. Easy to assemble and for the price an excellent buy. A little movement on the connection to the seat but it is my only remark.
