VNM Pedal Brake Upgrade Kit

These pedals definitely punch above their weight. They were easy to install, the software is easy to use, the brake spring assembly is super easy to swap and change, and they work flawlessly with every Sim I race.

Really well made and nicely finished. The components are all good quality and there are a few spare bolts and fixings which is a nice, thoughtful touch. The adjustability of the heel plate is so welcome when adjusting for the perfect foot position.

Why only four stars then?

Quite simply because the design lets it down in terms of versatility. I bought mine for a SIM LAB three pedal set up and while there was a review advising me that the reviewer had had to drill extra holes to accommodate SIM LAB's pedals, it would be totally unnecessary with a little more thought in design. Simply removing the top recess in the side plates would facilitate the provision of additional holes for greater versatility when fitting the cross bars. I did drill extra holes myself but the need for this could so easily be 'designed out'.

I also swapped the side plates left and right so that the mounting lugs on the bottom were inside the pedal box as, if assembled as intended, the mounting slots would have been too wide for my rig mounts. If I had not done this it would have necessitated the fitting of an additional flat mounting plate to connect the two.

So, all-in-all, a nice product which in my opinion could be exceptional.
